Paul Thomas Anderson has become the first filmmaker to win the FIPRESCI Grand Prix three times, as Phantom Thread was chosen best film of the past year by the members of the International Federation of Film Critics, after 'Magnolia' in 2000 and 'There Will Be Blood' in 2008.

Wastelander Faces a Horrifying Future World this February 20th on Digital Platforms

Angelo Lopes' Wastelander has just completed a week long theatrical run, in Hollywood. Now, Wastelander is set to show on Digital platforms, this month. The film blends several genres together: action, sci-fi and horror. Influenced by films such as George Miller's Mad Max (1979), The Bad Batch (2016)  and others, Wastelander stars: Brendan Guy Murphy, Jon Proudstar and Carol Cardenas. The Santa Barbara International Film Festival announced today that Barry Jenkins, Damien Chazelle, Denis Villeneuve, and Kenneth Lonergan will receive the 2017 Outstanding Directors of the Year Award. They will each be celebrated individually for their films Moonlight, La La Land, Arrival, and Manchester by the Sea respectively.  The individual honors will be followed by a joint conversation between the directors on their craft and the landscape of modern day filmmaking.  The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, February 7th at the historic Arlington Theatre.

FRAME London Dance Film Festival Sets 2016 Programme

The full programme has today been announced for the inaugural FRAME London Dance Film Festival. The vast programme of films and events is to take place from 9 to 12 June 2016 in Kingston-upon-Thames, London. Presented by the UK's pioneering dance company BalletBoyz in association with dancescreen, the festival is set to offer a unique opportunity to enjoy the best creative talent in dance and film to the general public, as well engaging broadcasters, video artists and choreographers. Over the three days, there are over 122 films screening with 11 World Premieres, 8 International, 4 European and 28 UK Premieres amongst the new work. These will be presented alongside classic films for all ages led by a celebration of Gene Kelly, dance performances and outdoor and family activities at various venues across the town.

Linzi Hateley returns to the role of Donna Sheridan in the global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA! at London's Novello Theatre from Monday 13 June 2016.  This is a role she has played twice before in London - from 2007-2009 and in 2010.  Her other recent theatre credits include the national tour of Barnum, London Road (National Theatre) and Les Miserables (Queen's Theatre).  Linzi also appeared in the film version of London Road.
