The Tony Awards have announced the line-up for the 3rd Annual Tony Awards Film Series, which will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at The Paley Center for Media. The Antoinette Perry "Tony" Awards, which are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing, will be broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall, on the CBS television network on Sunday, June 9, 2013.

Lyric Opera of Chicago's general director Anthony Freud announced today that Broadway's Tari Kelly will portray the feisty Ado Annie in the company's premiere and new production of Oklahoma! directed by Gary Griffin May 4-19 at the Civic Opera House. On October 12, 2012, The New York Pops orchestra launched its 30th Season at Carnegie Hall with Some Enchanted Evening: The Music of Rodgers and Hammerstein. Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke - described by The New York Times as a "polished, welcoming host" who is "young and vigorous, with a playful attitude" - led the orchestra in a highly-anticipated opening with Broadway favorites by beloved duo Rodgers and Hammerstein. The performance featured guest artists Aaron Lazar, Kelli O'Hara and Paulo Szot, along with Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA and New York Theatre Ballet. The program included classics from Oklahoma!, Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I and The Sound of Music at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage. Dancers Over 40 kicks off the second season of its popular series of panels and performances saluting Broadway and film director/choreographer Jack Cole with 'Jack Cole: Alive and Kicking' on Monday, October 13th at the Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theater at Symphony Space in New York. It will be hosted by legendary television talk show host Dick Cavett. There will be clips of Cole's television and film work, with special guests DO40 advisory board members Chita Rivera and Marge Champion.
