New York City Center's 2010-2011 Encores! season will open with the 1956 Jule Styne, Betty Comden and Adolph Green musical Bells Are Ringing, November 18 - 21, 2010. The season will continue with Kurt Weill and Maxwell Anderson's Lost in the Stars, February 3 - 6, 2011, followed by Frank Loesser's and George Abbott's Where's Charley?, March 17 - 20.

June 29 will mark the 100th birthday of Frank Loesser, the iconic composer and lyricist who wrote over 700 songs and five Broadway musicals and contributed music and lyrics to dozens of Hollywood films during his 40-year long career.

The American Theatre Wing has announced that their Annual Spring Gala, to be held on Monday, June 7, 2010 at Cipriani 42nd Street (110 East 42nd Street), will celebrate the centennial of Academy and Tony Award-winning composer Frank Loesser.

The Algonquin Hotel has announced their 2010 Oak Room schedule, which will include a wide variety of cabaret performances. The new season will begin with Johnny Rodgers performing What A Wonderful World May 11-29. The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center announced today that seven plays will be developed at the 2010 National Playwrights Conference under the leadership of artistic director Wendy C. Goldberg. The selected playwrights will spend the month of July at the O'Neill's Waterford, Connecticut campus developing and presenting staged readings of their work during the NPC's 46th season. Box office and online ticket sales open Wednesday, June 9; advance ticket sales will be available to O'Neill Members beginning Monday, May 17.

Variety is reporting that Daniel Radcliffe is officially headed back to Broadway in the Spring of 2011, starring in a revival of 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying'.
