Deane Little Theater at the West Side YMCA, 10 W. 64th Street, New York, NY. The reading, set to star Tony winners Kevin Kline and Nina Arianda, is already sold out!

On September 15, the Tony Award-winning production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time will welcome Tyler Lea in his Broadway debut as Christopher, Rosie Benton (Stick Fly) as Siobhan, Andrew Long (The Iceman Cometh at BAM) as Ed, and Nancy Robinette('Louie') as Mrs. Alexander, BroadwayWorld has just confirmed. Benjamin Wheelwright will also make his Broadway debut as Christopher at certain performances.

BROADWAY BARKS announces their 17th annual star-studded dog and cat adoption event to benefit New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies. Founded by Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore, this event features celebrities from the hottest shows on Broadway. The event, produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, will take place on Saturday, July 11 in Shubert Alley (located between 44th and 45th Streets, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue). The festivities begin at 3:00 p.m. where you meet all the adoptable dogs and cats; celebrity presentations of adoptable pets will take place between 5:00-6:30 p.m. This year's event will be co-hosted by Bernadette Peters and Andrew Rannells (The Book of Mormon, HBO's 'Girls'). The event is free and open to the public.

The Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers covering New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway announced the nominees this morning for the 2014-15 season. The first major Broadway/Off-Broadway award nominees of the New York theater season, the organization is celebrating its 64th season of bestowing awards of excellence in the field of theater. The Outer Critics Circle is an association with members affiliated with more than ninety newspapers, magazines, radio and television stations, Internet, and theatre publications in America and abroad.
