Last night the American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER) and Broadway Impact launched the all-star Broadway premiere of '8' to a packed and enthusiastic audience. The play, which chronicles the historic trial in the federal legal challenge to California's Proposition 8, was written by AFER Founding Board Member and Academy Award-winning writer Dustin Lance Black and directed by Tony Award-winning actor and director Joe Mantello.

Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's hit Off Broadway show, Love, Loss, and What I Wore, welcomed its newest castlast night, AUgust 12, with a celebration immediately following the 8:00 PM performance. Love, Loss, and What I Wore's newest cast members include: Marylouise Burke (HBO's 'Hung'), Emmanuelle Chriqui (HBO's 'Entourage'), Ann Harada (Avenue Q), Roslyn Ruff (The Help) and Yeardley Smith ('The Simpsons').
Fran Drescher and Charles Shaughnessy to Reunite on 'Happily Divorced'

Charles Shaughnessy ('The Nanny,' 'Mad Men'), who played Fran's employer-turned-husband in the popular sitcom, 'The Nanny,' guest stars as Gregory, a guy that both Fran and her ex-husband Peter (John Michael Higgins) want to date in the season finale of 'Happily Divorced.' To date, the series is averaging over 2.2 million viewers every week. Last week, 'Happily Divorced' was renewed for a second season of 12 episodes.

TV Land announced today that production starts this week on the network's new original sitcom, 'The Exes' (working title). The series, which is written by Mark Reisman ('Frasier'), will debut on TV Land on Wednesday, November 30 at 10:30 pm ET/PT immediately following the season three premiere of 'Hot in Cleveland.' The program stars critically-acclaimed actors Donald Faison ('Scrubs'), Wayne Knight ('Seinfeld,' 'Hot in Cleveland'), David Alan Basche ('The Starter Wife'), Kelly Stables ('Two and a Half Men') and Emmy Award-winner Kristen Johnston ('3rd Rock From The Sun').
