?Theater J begins the 2016-2017 season with the regional premiere of the rollicking, engaging, and thoughtful comedy, The Last Schwartz, written by Lilly Award Winner Deborah Zoe Laufer. It plays at Theater J September 7 through October 2, 2016 and kicks off the first season selected by new Artistic Director Adam Immerwahr.

There are people who eat and there are those who get eaten. This fall, Arena Stage serves up Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes, a delicious drama about family greed and betrayal. Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe nominee Marg Helgenberger, known for her 12 seasons as Catherine Willows on CBS's CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, stars as Regina Giddens under veteran director Kyle Donnelly, who has directed more than 20 productions at Arena Stage. The Little Foxes runs September 23-October 30, 2016 in the Kreeger Theater. The company just kicked off rehearsals, and BroadwayWorld has a sneak peek at the meet & greet below!

Arden Theatre Company opens its 29th season with Aaron Posner's STUPID f**kING BIRD, 'sort of' adapted from Anton Checkov's The Seagull. Posner, an Arden co-founder and former Artistic Director who has directed nearly 40 productions for the company, also directs his show for the first time. STUPID f**kING BIRD runs September 15 through October 16, 2016, on the F. Otto Haas Stage at 40 N. 2nd Street in Philadelphia.
