Of course not everyone can be piled into the Beacon Theatre on Sunday so, instead of sitting on your couch anxiously awaiting for the winners to be announced and drinking a fun musical themed cocktail, you could be out hitting up some of the best Tony Award Viewing Parties. The Actors Fund announced today that Emmy Award winning ABC-7 entertainment reporter George Pennacchio will host the 20th Anniversary Tony Awards® Viewing Party on Sunday, June 12, 2016 (3:30-8:00pm) at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, California.

?Award winning singer/ dancer/choreographer Paula Abdul has been named the honoree for the Professional Dancers Society's (PDS) annual Gypsy Awards Luncheon, it was announced by PDS President, Mitzi Gaynor and PDS Board Chairman, Joni Berry.  Ms. Abdul will be honored on Sunday, April 24th at the Beverly Hilton Hotel (9876 Wilshire Blvd.) and famed choreographers Carl Jablonski and Kevin Carlisle will receive PDS Choreography Awards, for their extraordinary contribution to dance.  In a special tribute, legendary entertainer Dick Van Dyke will receive The Dance Legacy Award.

The inimitable Carol Channing was feted in style on Saturday night as the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert, California presented Carol Channing's 95th Birthday! In Celebration of a Broadway Legend. The star-studded performance was produced and directed by Chad Hilligus, with music direction and orchestrations by Steven Baker and choreography by Charlie Williams.
