RENT's Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp Extend 'ACOUSTICALLY SPEAKING' at Feinstein's/54 Below

Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp celebrate 20 years of friendship and the iconic Tony Award winning musical RENT in a special engagement "Acoustically Speaking -- A 20 Year Friendship" at New York's Feinstein's/ 54 Below.

The original one-week engagement sold out, the club has added five new performances from Monday, October 10 through Friday, October 14 at 7:00 PM.

In addition, "Rock Talk: Conversations With...Adam Pascal & Anthony Rapp" - hosted by Phil Lipof - will take place at Feinstein's/ 54 Below on Sunday, October 9 at 7:00 PM. Rapp and Pascal will share details on RENT's creation, development and performances of the iconic musical and beyond, along with thoughts on their long-standing relationship as friends and concert artists. Hear stories you have never heard before about Adam and Anthony's individual careers and their subsequent Broadway shows, concerts and films they've been part of, and hear the songs they are known for. Pascal and Rapp are presented by Rich Aronstein of RJ Productions.

"Acoustically Speaking - A 20 Year Friendship" is a brand new show featuring the two Broadway giants, coming together to celebrate music, stories and their friendship. An intimate show, Adam and Anthony will deliver solo sets featuring both original tunes and songs that have influenced their lives, capped off by performing a few of the iconic hits from where it all began - meeting at RENT. RENT by Jonathan Larson has gone on to become an international phenomenon from its Off Broadway beginnings. Fans everywhere relate to the theme and stories of Rent and certainly have connected with the characters and the actors who portrayed them. Since their time as members of the original cast, Adam & Anthony have remained close friends while each have gone off to do additional great work in film and on Broadway.

The Columbia Club in Indianapolis will present the pair for a Special Master Class on August 24 at 6:00 PM, with a performances to follow on Thursday, August 25 at 7:30 PM at Nugent-Custer Performance Hall and Friday, August 26 at The Columbia Club at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM. These days, Anthony continues on the IF/THEN national tour, repeating the role he originated on Broadway. Adam returned to Broadway's Nederlander Theater this past winter, starring in Disaster! Both artists have continued to do their own solo concerts throughout the country.

ADAM PASCAL and ANTHONY RAPP will perform at "Acoustically Speaking - A 20 Year Friendship" at Feinstein's/54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on Monday, October 10 through Friday, October 14 at 7:00 PM. "Rock Talk: Intimate Conversations With..." was created by Rich Aronstein and hosted by news anchor Phil Lipof. It premiered six years ago at Feinstein's and now this special interview series returns with performances at Feinstein's/54 Below. Phil Lipof is an award-winning news anchor. "Rock Talk" was born in 2010 while he was an anchor at Eyewitness News Channel 7 in New York. He is currently the co-News Anchor at WCVB's NewsCenter 5 in Boston. Lipof has covered some of the major stories of the decade including the Boston Marathon bombings and "Superstorm Sandy". Phil's career is news but his love is music. He has interviewed major musicians throughout his news career and brings his love of music to Rock Talk.
