This summer, Shakespeare Orange County's Artistic Director, Tom Bradac gets to cross one item off his list that's been on it for a very long time - namely, to go to The Fringe. Little did he know that it would be in a very unique city (Prague, CZ) with a very unusual project (Shakespeare's rarely produced erotic poem Venus and Adonis).

Shakespeare Orange County will present William Shakespeare's MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING August 16 through September 1 at Garden Grove's open air Festival Amphitheatre-outside and 'Under the Stars.' Michael Nehring and Evelyn Carol Case are featured in the roles of Benedick and Beatrice. Founding Artistic Producing Director Thomas F. Bradac directs.

Shakespeare Orange County's 21st anniversary celebration continues with the presentation of RICHARD III. The production runs through August 4 at Garden Grove's open air Festival Amphitheatre-outside and 'Under the Stars.' Returning to the Festival this season are John Walcutt as Richard, Evelyn Carol Case as Queen Elizabeth and Amanda Zarr as Lady Anne. Veteran company member Carl Reggiardo directs this production. Shakespeare Orange County has announced their 21st season: Richard III, Venus and Adonis and Much Ado About Nothing. Richard III will feature John Walcutt in the title role with Carl Reggiardo directing the production. According to Producing Artistic Director, Thomas F. Bradac, "2012 promises to be the most ambitious season in our twenty one year old history." Bradac will direct both Venus and Adonis and Much Ado About Nothing. The award winning company performs in the 550-seat Festival Amphitheatre in Garden Grove, CA.
