Introducing more education opportunities students, this year Ching-Yun Hu, Founder and Director of the Philadelphia Young Pianists' Academy (PYPA), has created a series of lectures with special guests that are open to the public. A highlight of the series is the return of the highly revered pianist Gary Graffman who will instruct three classes and industry professionals Jonathan Eifert and Pierre van der Westhuizen will focus on career planning, programming choices, using technology for publicity and more.

The Philadelphia Young Pianists' Academy (PYPA) will be celebrating its sixth year as an international event from August 5 through August 12, 2018. They are inaugurating a new home for the experience at the prestigious Academy of Vocal Arts located at 1920 Spruce St in Philadelphia. There will be eight days of concerts by world-class pianists, master classes by some of the most highly respected pianists and professors and student concerts. Founder Ching-Yun Hu is pleased to expand the program this year with more concerts and a speaker series.

Entering the sixth decade of a noted global career, pianist Misha Dichter will be presented by the Key Pianists concert series on Wednesday evening, February 21st, 2018 at 7:30 pm at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. Mr. Dichter's program will feature solo piano works by Schubert and Scriabin; he will be joined by his wife-pianist Cipa Dichter-in piano duets by Schubert and Copland.
