Tim McArthur hosts a brand new weekly theatreland chat show, launching on Resonance 104.4fm today, Friday 11 May 2012. The Curtain Up Show will take a light-hearted look at the current state of London theatre, showcasing established and up-and-coming talent, both on stage and behind the scenes.

CHAPLIN, a new musical depicting the life of film icon Charlie Chaplin, with music and lyrics by Christopher Curtis and book by three-time Tony Award-winner Thomas Meehan (Annie, The Producers, Hairspray) and Christopher Curtis, will open on Broadway on Monday, September 10, 2012 at the Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street). Previews will begin Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Acclaimed director/choreographer Warren Carlyle (Finian's Rainbow, Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway) directs and choreographs the production. Casting and additional creative team to be announced soon.

Celebrate Brooklyn! today announced its lineup for this year, which begins June 5 with a free concert by reggae icon Jimmy Cliff.

Riverfront Theater, Chicago's newest entertainment destination, welcomes - direct from Dublin - The Twelve Tenors. The five-day production is the first of a series of summer programming in the 70-foot tall, 22,000 square foot temperature-controlled tent along the scenic Chicago River. Joining The Twelve Tenors, as the Thirteenth Tenor, on opening night, May 30, is Chicago's own TV personality and host of the wildly popular radio show, "Mr. Fix It," is Lou Manfredini.
