In a small rural town where 'nothing interesting happens,' a chunk of meteor lands in farmer Templeton?s chicken coop and changes everything - including the chickens. His friend Ziggy, to whom he sells a souvenir chunk, undergoes a bizarre transformation and is quarantined by the Feds. But this is only part of Yokomori?s surrealistic tale, which echoes Beckett?s Waiting for Godot and Ionesco's Rhinoceros.

PAN ASIAN REPERTORY THEATRE continues its 37th Milestone Season with the New York premiere of FISHING FOR WIVES, a comic battle of the sexes written by Edward Sakamoto and directed by Ron Nakahara. The production will begin previews on April 5, 2014 and run until April 27, 2014 at the Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row (410 W 42nd Street between 9th and Dyer). The official opening is on Thursday April 10th at 7:30PM.

Kumu Kahua Theatre ends its 40th-anniversary season with a bang. Opening on May 26 is a new play from Edward Sakamoto, one of Hawai‘i's most notable-and recognizable-theater voices. He returns with It's All Relative, a humorous exploration of marriage, identity and fading dreams told through three generations of an O‘ahu family in 1995.
