One of the most enduring, yet often forgotten Christmas memoirs, Dylan Thomas's A Child's Christmas in Wales comes to life at Stone Soup Theatre, recreating the nostalgic magic of Dylan Thomas' childhood Christmas when everything was brighter, better and more alive. Dylan comes to realize, however, the experience of Christmas doesn't change with time, but holds a place that nothing else can fill. Performers include our youth conservatory students and professional adult actors.

KPFK Radio's Arts in Review, Los Angeles's longest-running radio showcase on live theater and cabaret, presents its annual Christmas Day Special, highlighted by a concert presentation of Dylan Thomas' A Child's Christmas in Wales, featuring actor Al Alu; and the premiere of the radio dramatization, All is Calm, All is Bright, performed by the Arts in Review Repertory Company.

Welsh actor Geraint Wyn Davies will portray the legendary Welsh poet, playwright and author of 'Under Milk Wood,' Dylan Thomas in Leon Pownall's play DO NOT GO GENTLE, previewing Off-Broadway starting November 19 prior to opening December 6, 2009 at Theatre Row's Clurman Theatre (410 West 42 Street) in Manhattan.

TheaterWorks Launches its 24th Season with "Shakespeare's R&J", a provocative adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, running November 12th through December 20th. Called "electrifying", "magical", "inspired", and "dreamlike", "Shakespeare's R&J" is Romeo and Juliet as it has never been seen before. Set in the repressed atmosphere of a modern Catholic boarding school, this brave and original adaptation spins the tale of "star-cross'd lovers" into a journey of astonishing discoveries.
Stratford Shakespeare Festival Announces Additional Casting in Plummer, Kennedy & Therriault Led 2010 Productions

Toronto's The Stratford Shakespeare Festival has revealed revealed additional casting for its 2010 season. The stars include Christopher Plummer, Chilina Kennedy, Juan Chioran, Michael Therriault and Geraint Wyn Davies for the Festival's productions of The Tempest, Evita, Kiss Me Kate, Peter Pan and Do Not Go Gentle. Nikki M. James, who was previously set to star alongside Plummer has withdrawn from the festival due to 'personal reasons.'
