In honor of THIRTEEN's 50th anniversary on September 16, 2012, the flagship station of PBS is kicking off a year-long celebration the week of September 17-23, 2012 with the premiere of Pioneers of THIRTEEN, a four-part documentary chronicling the growth and breadth of the station's programming over 50 years.

Celebration Theatre in association with DEMAND PRoductions and Peter Schneider have announced the first show of its celebratory 30th Anniversary Season, the world premiere musical, JUSTIN LOVE, with book by Patricia Cotter and David Elzer, story by David Elzer and Bret Calder, music by Lori Scarlett and David Manning and lyrics by Lori Scarlett. The show will be directed by Michael Matthews with choreography by Janet Roston and musical direction by Gregory Nabours. JUSTIN LOVE will begin previews tonight, September 7, and will open on Friday, September 21, running through Sunday, November 18, 2012, at Celebration Theatre, 7051B Santa Monica Blvd in Hollywood.

According to a report from whatsonstage.com, Daniel Lapaine and Darrel D'Silva will join previously cast Sheridan Smith in Ibsen's Hedda Gabler at the Old Vic. Previews begin tonight, September 5, with an opening set on September 12, 2012.

Cape May Stage, South Jersey's premiere Equity theatre, will welcome back two of their favorite performers: husband-and-wife team Michael Tucker and Jill Eikenberry. Well known as the stars for eight seasons of NBC's "L.A. Law," the couple returns to Cape May Stage in "Mike's Shorts": a series of tales weaving the couple's love of food with their love for each other. Join them on their journey at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse tonight, August 27th at 8pm.

The Castillo Theatre continues its presentation of four winning scripts from the 2012 Mario Fratti-Fred Newman Political Play Contest, selected from more than 200 entries including submissions by playwrights from around the world. The plays are being directed by distinguished theatre professionals and the final production plays tonight, August 27 at 7:00 p.m.

Billy Connolly will bring his uncensored, uncut and unpredictable stand-up to New York this winter when he plays the legendary Beacon Theatre on Friday December 7 with his show, BILLY CONNOLLY: THE MAN LIVE. Blue13 Dance Company and the Dance Conservatory of Pasadena celebrate National Dance Day with a fundraiser, "INDIAN SUMMER," at the Dance Conservatory of Pasadena, 496 South Arroyo Boulevard, Pasadena, Calif., on Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. - Midnight, an Outdoor and Indoor Festival including a Bollywood Bazaar, a Bollywood Bhangra Dance Party and performances throughout the day and night by Blue13 Dance Company, Trey Rich, Jamie Gregor, Marie Poppins, Francisco Martinez, MnR Dance Factory, Daniel Coffman, Prince Andrew, Jacob Jonas & Jill Wilson, Shiva Ware, and Chris "cj3" Rutledge. Live music will be provided by Suvah Entertainment. A portion of the proceeds from the day will benefit The National Kidney Foundation, a charity close to Blue13 Dance Company Artistic Director, Achinta S.
