Cynthia Vaughn, founder and director of Magnolia Music Studio-Old Town in Fort Collins, Colorado and co-author of the leading class college textbook and song anthology, The Singing Book, is opening a new music studio located in Tri-Cities, Washington in September 2014.

Phoenix Theater Opens LES MISERABLES On 2/18, Runs Thru 3/22

Phoenix Theatre will open an all new production of the epic, musical masterpiece Les Mis?rables on February 18, bringing the audience closer to the searing story, and to the barricade, than ever before. It will run through March 22, 2009. Phoenix Theatre is one of only a few professional regional theatres in the country to have been chosen to produce this powerful musical. Phoenix Theatre's production has been produced in collaboration with Arkansas Repertory Theatre.

The theatrical event of the year is almost here! You've never been this close to the barricade! Les Mis?rables will be performed at the Phoenix Theatre from February 18 - March 22, 2009. Experience this modern musical masterpiece based on Victor Hugo?s epic novel like never before. In 19th century France, Jean Valjean is released from 19 years of unjust imprisonment, but finds nothing in store for him but mistrust and mistreatment. He breaks his parole in hopes of starting a new life, initiating a life-long struggle for redemption as he is relentlessly pursued by police inspector Javert, who refuses to believe Valjean can change his ways. Epic, grand and uplifting. Experience the emotion and grandeur of Les Mis?rables in Phoenix Theatre?s intimate theatre! The lead roles will be played by Christopher B. Carl (Javert), E.J. Dohring (Gavroche), Lisa Fogel (Fantine), Kyle Harris (Enjolras), Beau Heckman (Thornadier), Jenny Hintze (Eponine), Jeanine Pacheco (Cosette), Terry Summers (Madame Thornadier), and Douglas Webster (Valjean).
