The talented artist speaks with Billboard.com for their September 5th issue and shares, 'I'm living out my dream!'

 Winners of the 2014 FringeNYC Overall Excellence Awards were announced by festival Producing Artistic Director Elena K. Holy during a brief ceremony at Drom in New York. As selected by an independent panel of over 30 theater professionals, the winners are as follows:

The New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC) announces the productions selected for its newest program: FringeFAVE. On August 30th, one final performance slot in each of the 17 theaters hosting the festival has been given to the best-selling show in that venue. Tickets for all of these 'favorite' shows are now on sale at www.FringeNYC.org.

Beginning tonight, August 25, So You Think You Can Dance- Season 10 winner Amy Yakima, joins the cast of Broadway's Finding Neverland as Peter Pan. Yakima replaces Melanie Moore (So You Think You Can Dance Winner- Season 8), who will soon star as Chava in Fiddler on the Roof. This marks Yakima's Broadway debut.

WAITRESS, the promising new musical adaptation of the 2007 indie rom-com that starred Kerri Russell and Nathan Fillion, may need a bit more shaking and baking before it's ready to contend for Broadway's Blue Ribbon. However, singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles, screenwriter-turned-librettist Jessie Nelson, director Diane Paulus and star Jessie Mueller have stirred enough tasty ingredients into their bittersweet concoction to whet the audience's appetite for a second serving.

After a week of air-conditioning problems at The Lynn Redgrave Theater that caused some performances to be canceled and others to be performed with only work lights, FringeNYC has moved 8 of its shows to SoHo Playhouse.

ONCE, winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical and winner of the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will play the Broward Center for the Performing Arts for a limited engagement from October 6 - 18, 2015. The world premiere, Broadway-bound musicalWaitress, based on the motion picture written by Adrienne Shelly, with a book by Jessie Nelson, music & lyrics by Sara Bareilles, direction by Diane Paulus, and choreography by Chase Brock, officially opened last night, August 20th, at American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University.

PIPPIN will play the Aronoff Center, October 13-18, 2015 as part of the 2015-2016 Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Cincinnati Season presented by TriHealth. The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus, presents the first offering of its 2015/16 OBERON Presents series - GHOST QUARTET, with Music, Lyrics, & Text by Dave Malloy, Developed & Arranged by Ghost Quartet, and Directed by Annie Tippe.
