After fourteen years, more than $7 million raised and more than 900 wishes granted, Maggiano's Little Italy is proud to once again kick off its annual campaign benefiting Make-A-Wish, a nonprofit organization that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. This year, Maggiano's is tapping into Guests' favorite weekly tradition, brunch, and inviting them to "Brunch With A Purpose," where $1 will be donated to Make-A-Wish for every brunch entre ordered.

Dallas Summer Musicals, Inc. (DSM) in collaboration with Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children arranged a special performance of CIRCUS 1903 - The Golden Age of Circus for patients and their families at the hospital on May 24, 2017. Through a partnership with Big Thought, DSM Kids Club program also welcomed 200 children to the Music Hall at Fair Park for a complimentary performance of CIRCUS 1903 and a variety of pre-show activities on May 27, 2017.

Andrew Kay AM, President of Live Performance Australia, today announced that Richard Tognetti AO, Artistic Director of the Australian Chamber Orchestra, will be the recipient of the 2017 JC Williamson Award.

This thrilling, nostalgic, and electric masterpiece, from the producers of The Illusionists and the puppeteers behind War Horse, features incredible stunts, acrobatics, and life-size puppets - making it perfect for the whole family!

The second play in Circle Theatre's 2017 season is Rasheeda Speaking.

Come one, come all to CIRCUS 1903-THE GOLDEN AGE OF CIRCUS that has landed in Chicago with plenty of razzle dazzle circus acts and exhilarating feats to make this show a treat for the whole family. Directed by Neil Dorward, and featuring two magnificently rendered elephant puppets from Significant Object, the artistic company that was also behind WAR HORSE, CIRCUS 1903 is a feast for the eyes and recalls the delights of a classic traveling circus.

Smurf in Wanderland is one man's insightful and hilarious examination of football, tribalism, belonging and identity. David Williams - acclaimed documentary theatre maker, writer and football fanatic - is the 'Smurf'.

Continuing the 43rd Season of Dunwoody's very own professional theatre, STAGE DOOR PLAYERS produces The Cemetery Club by Ivan Menchall. Dina Shadwell directs. The show opens on Friday, March 17, 2017 and runs through Sunday, April 9. Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 8pm (except, no performance on Thursday, March 23), and Sundays at 2:30pm.

Circus 1903 is circus at its theatrical best...in its opening number... then unfortunately for the show it drops this theatricality and with it its energy and genuine excitement. There are some remarkable artists and beautiful moments, which are particularly captivating. However, there are lengthy periods which stagnate and slow the show up from its premise of depicting circus life back in the early 1900s. This premise is really quite beautiful and some of the monologues delivered by ringmaster David Williamson are incredibly touching. Williamson is an absolute showman and has the audience both laughing hysterically and wowed by his slight of hand magic. He keeps the action flowing whenever the energy dips and is a welcomed feature whenever he enters to the stage.

Tonight we Panic! Divorce, unexplained cash, police and other unwanted visitors, all add up to mystery, confusion and mayhem.

Revisiting the excitement and wonder that enchanted crowds at the start of the 20th Century, CIRCUS 1903 recreates the magic that inspired many contemporary circuses.
