The 20th Hamptons International Film Festival has announced that LOVE, MARILYN will have its U.S. Premiere as the Opening Night film at Guild Hall in East Hampton today, October 4th. Director Liz Garbus' documentary feature is a startlingly intimate and revealing portrait of arguably the most famous female actor ever to grace the silver screen. HBO will air in the film in 2013.

The Second Annual Gold Coast International Film Festival presented by the Great Neck Arts Center, with the Town of North Hempstead as Founding Sponsor, will present seven days and nights of bold, dynamic films, programs, panels, tributes, conversations, awards and festivities on Long Island's North Shore. GCIFF gets underway Monday, October 22 with two pre-festival events followed by its Opening Night Gala on Wednesday, and then runs at the Clearview Cinemas in the communities of Manhasset, Roslyn, Great Neck and Port Washington through Sunday, October 28, 2012.

Theatre Harrisburg Presents LEADING LADIES, Now Through 9/23

Theatre Harrisburg opens its 87th season with a production of the hilarious comedy LEADING LADIES at the Krevsky Production Center. Opening Friday, September 14, other performances are scheduled for September 15, 16, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23. Show times are Wednesday and Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. All tickets are priced at $25 except Wednesday, September 19 when all seats are only $15.
