Hilary Knight, the well known and honored illustrator, will have a special exhibition: "Hilary Knight's Stage Struck World" beginning April 25th at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center, 40 Lincoln Plaza (Broadway bet 63rd & 65th Streets).

As part of the Finborough Theatre's celebrations of Canada's 150th birthday, Canadian playwright Jordan Tannahill, 'the hottest name in Canadian theatre', will debut his play, Late Company, at the Finborough Theatre, for a strictly limited season from 25 April - 20 May 2017, with press nights on 27 April/28 April.

Interval Productions present new musical Muted, described by Stephen Fry as 'stunning' and Mark Shenton (The Stage) as the British equivalent to Rent. Written by Sarah Henley, with music and lyrics by Tim Prottey-Jones (Once, Phoenix Theatre; Kinky Boots, Adelphi Theatre; finalist on ITV's Superstar) and Tori Allen-Martin, Muted is a story of grief, guilt, self-discovery, forgiveness and the thing we can't do without - love.

Interval Productions present new musical Muted, described by Stephen Fry as 'stunning' and Mark Shenton (The Stage) as the British equivalent to Rent.

The cast has been announced for the European premiere of heart-warming chamber musical THE BURNT PART BOYS at Park Theatre, which runs from 10 August to 3 September. This is the first musical to be staged in PARK90, and British director Matthew Illife directs a brand new cast in this premiere. Press Night is Thursday 11 August, 7pm.  

The Al Hirschfeld Foundation has announced that Lynn Surry has assumed the position of Foundation President. Surry began her association with the artist 30 years ago when she sold and marketed his work for more than 12 years. Hirschfeld and Surry became friends and even went to the theater together. She has been an Al Hirschfeld Foundation board member since 2011. Surry has been an associate of the late, noted Art Historian Dr. Arlene Raven, conducting artist studio and gallery tours for collectors for over 25 years, and serves on the Advisory Council for Artists in Residence at Guild Hall in East Hampton, New York.

Al Hirschfeld immortalized celebrities, politicians, Broadway productions, films, television shows and beyond with his iconic linear drawings for nine decades, establishing himself as one of the most important contemporary portrait artists. Over a decade since the legendary artist drew his final line drawing, he continues to inspire. Tonight, September 29, at 6:30PM, The Art Students League of New York (215 W 57th Street) will host a discussion on the art and influence of perhaps the most popular graphic artist of the 20th century.

The Martin E. Segal Theatre Center, located at the Graduate Center City University of New York, announces its Fall 2015/Winter 2016 season of public programs.
