This Thanksgiving, Live From Lincoln Centerpresents the internationally acclaimed pianist Lang Lang and his love letter to New York, the city he considers his adoptive home, set to the music that helped make this city so famous. This special multi-genre event pairs one of the world's greatest virtuosos with a star-studded list of guest artists, embracing a wide range of musical styles and voices capturing New York's magic. New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW), Dale Franzen and Mara Isaacs announced today that HADESTOWN, a new folk opera written by celebrated singer-songwriter Anais Mitchell and developed with and directed by the three-time OBIE award-winning director Rachel Chavkin (The Royale; Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812), will record a live cast album at the evening performances on Tuesday, June 28 and Wednesday, June 29.

Lincoln Center announces Lang Lang's 'New York Rhapsody,' a special one-night only live concert featuring the internationally acclaimed pianist Lang Lang. This exclusive multi-genre concert event-Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 8:00 pm, in the Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center-pairs one of the world's greatest virtuosos with a star-studded list of guest artists. The 'Lang Lang's New York Rhapsody' event, which benefits Lincoln Center's community engagement initiatives, is produced by Live From Lincoln Center and will be filmed for a national television broadcast on PBS later this year.

Cast members from Fiddler on the Roof will perform and sign CDS at the Barnes & Noble on the Upper East Side (150 East 86th Street) on Friday, March 18th at 4:30 p.m. in celebration of the New 2016 Broadway Cast Album being released worldwide that same day by Broadway Records, it was announced today.

Big news for Fiddler fans! Broadway Records has just announced plans to release a New Broadway Cast Album of Fiddler on the Roof. It will have its worldwide release on March 18th and be available to purchase at The Broadway Theatre beginning March 8th.

Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell made his Cafe' Carlyle debut last night as he opened the Carlyle's fall season. The two-week engagement, entitled Plays With Music which featured Broadway favorites and standards.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present members from the Broadway cast of The Phantom of the Opera, who celebrated the songs written by their composer, Andrew Lloyd Webber, in concert on Sunday, July 12 at 6pm.  This sold-out smash hit was the first in a series of many tribute concerts by the cast of the record-breaking musical, and will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
