The Franklin Stage Company, Delaware County's renowned classical summer theater, announces the departure of longtime Executive Artistic Director, Carmela Marner.  Ms. Marner, whose parents, Gene and Carole Marner, were among the original founders of FSC in 1997, notified supporters of her decision in a recent letter: 'It has been my great honor to steer FSC and fulfill its dual mission to provide innovative professional theater and to restore and maintain our extraordinary home, Chapel Hall.'

Taking place tonight Friday, July 17, at 8:00 p.m., this edition of Into the Night features synth-pop band Tamaryn as they play to a live liquid light show by the Joshua Light Show. Interactive poetry and art making, a photo booth, and specialty cocktails top off this special event. Additional special guests to be announced.

The Museum of Modern Art's Summergarden concert series returns to The Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden for four Sunday evenings beginning July 11, 2010. Summergarden, a tradition that began in 1971, is part of MoMA's long history of presenting jazz and classical music, including several premieres, in the Sculpture Garden. MoMA once again welcomes the participation of The Juilliard School and Jazz at Lincoln Center, whose collaboration makes Summergarden possible.
