Now, with the release of his new album, out on April 21 on Verve Label Group, he's 'saying thanks to the city for giving me my ambition, my sense of humor and my decency' with a thematic song-cycle celebrating his home town.

This gaffe-a-minute comedy sees the thinking man's idiot wobbling on the brink of power. This rollicking tale packs in pay-as-you-go bikes, wiff-waff, and an ancient Greek lecture for good measure. Before long, verbal slips, trips and divine interruption cue a new battle - for his very political existence.

This production features five soloists, a chamber orchestra and a chorus, under the musical direction of harpsichordist Susan Toman and the stage direction of Jon David.

Last night, 17 October 2013, the National Theatre's smash hit comedy One Man, Two Guvnors became the longest running show at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in its almost two hundred-year history, celebrating this landmark with a special Gala performance as the production welcomed the new cast. The National Theatre's internationally acclaimed smash-hit comedy One Man, Two Guvnors will complete its West End run on 1 March 2014, prior to a UK and Ireland tour beginning in May 2014. One Man, Two Guvnors, which has been seen by over one million people worldwide and will be the longest running show at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in almost 200 years, will have played almost 900 London performances when it completes its West End run.
