Court Theatre announces new performance dates for its smash-hit production of David Auburn's Pulitzer Prize-winning Proof, directed by Artistic Director Charles Newell. The production has extended through April 14. Tickets for the week-long extension are now on sale through the box office, www.courttheatre.org or (773) 753-4472. Proof is currently playing at Court Theatre, 5355 S Ellis Avenue.

David Auburn's Pulitzer-winning drama, Proof,takes place on a decrepit back porch in Chicago and tells the story of Catherine, the perhaps exceptionally talented and perhaps unbalanced daughter of a similarly exceptional mathematician. Proof runs at the Menier Chocolate Factory until April 27 2013.

Growing Up Laughing author, actress and activist MARLO THOMAS and George Street Playhouse Artistic Director DAVID SAINT invite patrons to a special event - "Laughing with Marlo" -- Saturday, April 6 at 5:30. Three new e-Scripts from Dramatists Play Service have been added to the growing library of recent Broadway hits now available for Scene Partner. The new e-Scripts, OTHER DESERT CITIES by Jon Robin Baitz , THE MOUNTAINTOP by Katori Hall and THE LYONS, by Nicky Silver were part of the recent 2011 - 2012 Broadway season. They join current offerings THE COLUMNIST by David Auburn and GRACE by Craig Wright, both produced on Broadway during the last year. The titles are included in a new release by the Dramatists Play Service as part of the worldwide e-Script agreement with MyTheaterApps.com. They are available to actors and theaters for use in memorizing lines and mounting future theatrical productions of the plays.

Due to popular demand, Florida Studio Theatre announces an extension of the powerful political drama The Columnist, written by David Auburn. This profound drama based on the true events of Joseph Alsop's life is currently running in FST'S Keating Theatre and will now close on April 14, 2013.

Actress Tyne Daly returns to the George Street Playhouse stage for a one-night-only event tonight, February 25. The event, first in a planned series of 'Conversations with...' will feature the award-winning actress in a one-on-one conversation with GSP Artistic Director David Saint. In addition to conversing with Mr. Saint, Ms. Daly will also take questions from the audience as well. All proceeds of the event will go toward the support of George Street Playhouse's mainstage and educational programming.

Proof, the 2001 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play by American playwright David Auburn will be presented for 8 performances only at the Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street - between Lafayette & Bowery). Produced by an ensemble of independent New York actors and artists, performances will begin on Thursday, February 21st and continue through Sunday, March 3rd.

George Street Playhouse and the Alfa Art Gallery continue their collaboration which began with the start of the New Brunswick Theatre's season. Produced in association with the New Brunswick Cultural Center, the new exhibit will focus on small format and affordable works, and run concurrent with the George Street Playhouse production of Good People, January 29 through February 24.
