New York Stage and Film (Johanna Pfaelzer, Artistic Director; Thomas Pearson, Executive Director; Mark Linn-Baker, Max Mayer, Leslie Urdang, Producing Directors) and Vassar College (Ed Cheetham, Producing Director) have announced the line-up of their 2013 Powerhouse Theater Season, which includes new works from actor, writer and prolific, Grammy Award-winning musician Steve Martin and Tony Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator of Broadway'sIn the Heights, among many others. The 2013 Powerhouse Theater Season runs from June 21st - July 28th at Vassar College (Poughkeepsie, New York), and a full calendar and description of events are below. Casting is underway and will be announced shortly.

Australian comedian and award-winning actor Kim Gyngell (The Comedy Company, Underbelly, Lowdown) will make his Western Australian stage debut for Perth Theatre Company in the WA premiere of British play, A Number by Caryl Churchill in the Studio Underground from tonight, 11 to 27 April 2013.

Broadway/Hollywood crossover star Zachary Quinto was feted at the Dream Downtown last night in honor of his brand new cover for MANHATTAN Magazine and his recent co-stars from the lauded revival of the Tennessee Williams classic THE GLASS MENAGERIE showed their support - none other than theatre heavyweights Cherry Jones and Celia Keenan-Bolger.

Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz,and Rafe Spall will star on Broadway in Harold Pinter's BETRAYAL, directed by ten-time Tony Award-winner Mike Nichols. BETRAYAL will begin performances on Tuesday, October 1 at the Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street). Opening night is Sunday, November 3. BETRAYAL is a strictly limited engagement, running 14 weeks only, through January 5, 2014.

According to the Daily Mail, Rafe Spall is in final talks to join Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig in Harold Pinter's BETRAYAL, directed by Mike Nichols (Death of a Salesman), for a limited run on Broadway beginning in October 2013 at the Barrymore Theatre. BETRAYAL will begin rehearsals in August.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sam Mendes will not be returning to direct the next installment of the JAMES BOND franchise. The Oscar winner played a key role in breathing new life into the 007 film series with last year's box office smash 'Skyfall', but announced that he will not return to helm the next film.

Rachel Weisz recently revealed on the UK's 'Daybreak' that she will soon make her Broadway debut. She revealed: 'I am going to do a play on Broadway. It's confirmed. I've never done Broadway so I'm very excited.' Box-office smash, SKYFALL, will soon be available to own in high-definition, it was announced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. Skyfall released on Digital HD February 5th across all digital stores including Amazon, CinemaNow, iTunes, PlayStation, VUDU and Xbox Live. The Skyfall Blu-ray and DVD will follow today, February 12th in North America and February 18th in the United Kingdom with additional international markets to follow through March.
