The hilarious Gary Gulman will take to the stage at Comix At Foxwoods for four performances from Thursday, Oct. 3 to Saturday, Oct. 5. Gulman will keep audiences laughing at 8 p.m. each night throughout the weekend, before ending things on a high note with a 10:30 p.m. performance on Oct. 5.

Neil Blomkamp's ELYSIUM, starring Matt Damon and Jodie Foster, comes in at the top slot for the Friday, August 9, box office with $11.2 million. The film is eyeing $29-30 million for the weekend, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Walt Disney Studios unveiled new details about its upcoming animation slate this morning at the D23 Expo, showcasing new imagery, signature music and behind-the-scenes stories surrounding the roster of upcoming animated adventures. The presentation included information about the just-announced feature film “Zootopia”(working title) from Walt Disney Animation Studios, and the newest film in Disneytoon Studios' Disney Fairies franchise, plus never-before-shared voice cast announcements for upcoming Disney•Pixar titles that include Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, Neil Patrick Harris and Diane Keaton, among a host of others.

The world-famous Hollywood Bowl's annual concert presentation of a Broadway musical is CHICAGO this year, directed by actress Brook Shields and features an all-star cast that includes Samantha Barks, Ashlee Simpson, Stephen Moyer, and Lucy Lawless. The show which opened July 27, is a valiant, admirable production that is genuinely entertaining and filled with terrific musical numbers---particularly those that showcase triple-threat phenom Barks, who proves herself to be the show's best, most legit asset. This year The New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), presented in association with COMEDY CENTRAL, marks its 10th anniversary Wednesday, November 6 through Sunday, November 10. The festival will once again bring laughs to all the boroughs in New York City, and adding several new venues. The 2013 festival line-up will be announced in August, at which time tickets will also go on sale. Additional shows will be added in the fall.

Hernandez were on hand for a sneak peak at rehearsal's and one-one-one cast and creative team interviews last Friday, July 19 for The Hollywood Bowl's production of the third longest running musical in Broadway history – CHICAGO. The production stars Samantha Barks as Velma, Drew Carey as Amos, Lucy Lawless as Mama Morton, Stephen Moyer as Billy Flynn, and Ashlee Simpson as Roxie Hart. The Production will be presented July 26 – July 28, at the historic 17,000 seat venue and is directed by Brooke Shields with Musical Direction by Rob Fisher.
