Young People's Theatre has announced that the musical James and the Giant Peach has just been held over for a second time due to overwhelming audience demand. YPT is extending their special ?Holiday schedule which will now include performances at 11am and 2pm on most days from December 26 to January 4. Young People's Theatre will present the Canadian Premiere of a rollicking new musical version of the beloved children's classic James and the Giant Peach. Created by Tony Award-nominated songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, this wonderfully touching show has just been extended due to popular demand and will be presented on the Mainstage beginning November 24, running to December 28.

Led by Rev. Dr. Brent Hawkes, Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto is known nation-wide as the church that presided over former Leader of the Opposition Jack Layton's state funeral in 2011. This Tuesday evening, Dr. Hawkes and the noted, inspirational Choir of MCC will celebrate Christmas Eve at Roy Thomson Hall.

Casting has been announced for the Harold Green Jewish Theatre's production of Funny Girl, being presented in concert as a fundraiser in the George Weston Recital Hall at the Toronto Centre for the Arts on September 30th at 7:30 PM.
