Son of a Preacher Man, a heart-warming new musical featuring the soulful music of Dusty Springfield, with a book by Warner Brown and directed and choreographed by Craig Revel Horwood, embarks on a national tour starting at Bromley's Churchill Theatre from Monday 4 September 2017.

This Easter, Honk! the musical returns to London in a brand-new, actor-musician egg-stravaganza, filled with puppetry, magic and illusions. And water guns!

The Strictly Tour has now been an annual fixture in fans' calendars for ten years. Each time the casual enthusiast mentally prepares themselves for a some full on fluff and scripted joviality but on this opening night at Wembley, this relentlessly joyful show was full of heart which is exactly what the world needs right now.

Michael Harrison and David Ian will present the UK and Ireland tour of the Curve production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's award-winning musical SUNSET BOULEVARD. Starring Ria Jones as Norma Desmond and directed by Nikolai Foster, SUNSET BOULEVARD will open at Curve on Saturday 16 September 2017 (press night Thursday 28 September), before touring the UK and Ireland. The final line-up for the 2017 Strictly Come Dancing Live UK Tour is today announced and the pairings are Louise Redknapp and Kevin Clifton; Danny Mac and Oti Mabuse; Ore Oduba and Karen Clifton; Ed Balls and Katya Jones*; Daisy Lowe and Aljaž Skorjanec; Lesley Joseph and Gorka Marquez.

Craig Revel Horwood directs million selling X Factor winner Alexandra Burke in the hit musical comedy Sister Act at the Lyceum Theatre from Monday 16 - Saturday 21 January. 

Ed Balls may have departed the competition, but he's not hanging up his dance shoes yet. The former Shadow Chancellor is the latest celebrity name confirmed for the 2017 Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour, along with Ore Oduba and Lesley Joseph. They join the already confirmed Louise Redknapp, Danny Mac and Daisy Lowe.

It will be a decade since its first live tour but, when Strictly Come Dancing takes to the road on January 20, 2017 in Birmingham, audiences will experience for themselves the magic of the TV show at arenas throughout the UK.

Jamie Wilson and the Leicester Curve's new production of Sister Act contains all of the ingredients for a smash-hit musical: a star director, a celebrity lead, a well-known, beloved story based on a popular film, and a plethora of sequins and catchy tunes.  Based on the 1992 film starring Whoopi Goldberg, Sister Act follows the story of Deloris Van Cartier, an aspiring Philadelphia club singer. When Doloris witnesses her mobster boyfriend Curtis commit murder, she rushes to the police and old high school friend, Eddie, hides her in the one place she surely won't be found: a convent. The Mother Superior abhors Deloris' outspoken and extravagant nature. However, Deloris soon forms a close bond with the other sisters, transforming their pitiful choir with soul and funk versions of their usual hymns. When the convent choir's growing popularity puts Deloris' safety at risk, the sisters and even Mother Superior risk everything to protect her. 

Based on the 1992 film starring Whoopi Goldberg, Sister Act premiered onstage in the West End in 2009 starring Patina Miller as Deloris Van Cartier and Sheila Hancock as the Mother Superior. The lavish production opened at the London Palladium to critical acclaim and has enjoyed many revivals across the globe ever since. The last major UK production was in 2010, starring the now Tony award-winning Cynthia Erivo which took the same format as the original production. Craig Revel Horwood's new take on the musical, produced by Jamie Wilson, opened officially at the Curve in Leicester last night before it begins its UK tour.

The Curve's all new production of the hit musical comedy SISTER ACT, directed and choreographed by Craig Revel Horwood, opens tonight 30 July 2016.
