Stage and screen star Ellen Greene is set to join te cast of CBS' The Young and the Restless, beginning January 7. Greene will star as Primrose, who acts as a person from Billy and Victoria Abbott's past.

The Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards will be broadcast from Las Vegas for the first time on June 27th, 2010 over the CBS Television Network. 'It is with great pleasure that the Daytime Emmy Awards returns to the CBS Network,' said Herb Granath, Chairman, NATAS. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the nominees for the 37th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards. Many of the major categories were announced this morning on 'CBS News' 'The Early Show,' by Bree Williamson (Jessica Brennan on 'One Life to Live,' ABC) and Travis Stork ('The Doctors,' Syndicated) including the naming of the Lifetime Achievement honoree, Agnes Nixon, the grand dame of Daytime serial drama.

Grammy Award-winning super star Celine Dion will appear on the ABC soap-opera 'All My Children' on Wednesday, November 21.

Brian Frons, president of ABC Daytime, Disney, ABC Television Group announced plans today for a groundbreaking storyline on ABC's 'All My Children' involving a character coming to terms with her transgender identity. This marks the first time any daytime drama has chronicled a transgender coming out story.

On Monday, February 7, 2005, in celebration of 'All My Children's' 35th anniversary, the cast of the Emmy award-winning daytime drama, along with other stars from ABC Daytime's top-rated line-up, will appear in a one night show on Broadway to support Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS, it was announced today by Brian Frons, president, ABC Daytime.
