Monkees band members and long-time friends Peter Tork and Micky Dolenz have responded to the sad news of singer Davy Jones passing yesterday at age 66. Jones suffered a heart attack in his hometown of Florida.

TMZ reports that Davy Jones, lead singer of the popular Biritsh invasion band, Monkees, has passed away of a heart attack this morning, February 29, at Martin Memorial Hospital in Stuart, Florida. He was 66 years old.

The Denver Center Theatre Company (DCTC) today announced of the lineup of playwrights and directors for its Seventh Annual Colorado New Play Summit.
