Tori Amos' musical, The Light Princess, will open at the Lyttelton Theatre on October 9. Joining previously announced Rosalie Craig (Ragtime, Finding Neverland) and Clive Rowe (Into the Woods, Kiss Me Kate) will be Amy Booth-Steel, Stephanie Bron, Vivien Carter, James Charlton, Hal Fowler, Owain Gwynn, Nicola Hart, C J Johnson, Luke Johnson, David Langham, Richard Lowe, Tommy Luther, Jamie Muscato, Emma Norin, Malinda Parris, Kane Oliver Parry, Adam Pearce, Caspar Phillipson, Laura Pitt-Pulford, Clive Rowe, Nuno Silva, Phoebe Street, Ben Thompson and Lynne Wilmot.

BLUES IN THE NIGHT uses the great blues and jazz songs of the 1920s and 30s to explore the lives of three women and a saloon singer in a 'cheap hotel' during the course of a long memory-filled evening. The 26 songs celebrate the blues melodies of Bessie Smith, Jimmy Cox, Duke Ellington, Alberta Hunter and songs by Harold Arlen, Benny Goodman, Andy Razaf, Johnny Mercer and others.

An exciting programme of platform events has been scheduled to run in conjunction with The Hothouse, Jamie Lloyd Productions' second show for Trafalgar Studios. The programme includes: A pre-show Q&A with award winning designer Soutra Gilmour; post show Q&As with the cast and director Jamie Lloyd; a Pinter workshop hosted by director Jamie Lloyd; two Pinter shorts - Family Voices and Victoria Station performed by a cast including Joanna Lumley and Andrew Scott; and three panel discussions: the first with Michael Billington, Nick Payne and Jamie Lloyd followed by a second with Harold Pinter's wife, Lady Antonia Fraser - in conversation with Jamie Lloyd, and finally a panel event to discuss abuse of human rights.
