There's no time to snooze this October, with St Helens Theatre Royal promising a dazzling new production of popular panto Sleeping Beauty to entertain audiences young and old.

Jamie Wilson and Gavin Kalin have just announced that Claire Sweeney will take over the role of 'Irene' in the national tour of the Watermill Theatre's acclaimed production of CRAZY FOR YOU .

St Helens' spellbinding pantomime Sleeping Beauty is just one month away and Regal Entertainments are delighted to announce two new additions, Jess Pritchard and Corey Rumble, to the cast.

St Helens Theatre Royal is preparing for an Autumn season of mellow fruitfulness - as well as fantastic music, hilarious comedy, beautiful ballet, Beatles, Blues Brothers and no fewer than TWO pantomimes.

London theatre is celebrating following the triumphant West End LIVE 2017, which saw hundreds of thousands flock to Trafalgar Square, a testament to the enduring appeal and resilience of theatre. Now in its 13th year, the event has grown to become one of Europe's largest free performing arts festivals. The event is organised by Westminster City Council and the Society of London Theatre with support from the Mayor of London.

The most spellbinding panto of them all is returning to St Helens Theatre Royal this autumn - and producers are today excited to reveal its stellar cast, with Liverpool's own Claire Sweeney taking the lead, plus Tam Ryan, Laura Gregory, and Simon Foster completing the line-up.

Giles Terera and Danielle Tarento are presenting a West End fundraising gala evening of song, dance and comedy for the hundreds of families made homeless and the relatives of those who lost their lives in the Grenfell Tower fire.

Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel officially opened at the London Coliseum last night, 11 April 2017, and will continue its strictly limited five week run to 13 May 2017. Check out photos from opening night below!

Some of the biggest stars on the West End have rerecorded Jacques Brel's "If We Only Have Love" in aid of Childline as the service celebrates its 30th anniversary.

On the 9th November 35 stars of current West End Musicals released Jacques Brel's 'If We Only Have Love' in support of Childline, to spread the message of peace, love, and hope.

Can the loveable but whacky inventor, Potts, along with his two children and the gorgeous Truly Scrumptious outwit the bombastic Baron Bomburst who has decreed that all children be banished from his kingdom? What happens when the children are caught and imprisoned with the other youngsters by the evil Childcatcher? Will it all end happily-ever-after? Well, of course it will!

The King's and Theatre Royal jam-packed autumn season is already well underway with classics such as Cats and The Mousetrap earlier this with much more to come in the run up to the festive season and there's even got a glimpse as to what the new year will bring…

One of the world's most famous cars has flown into the Birmingham Hippodrome this week, in the form of Ian Fleming's spectacular musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Based on the beloved film of the same name, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang sees struggling inventor Caractacus Potts swept away on an extraordinary adventure with his children, Jeremy and Jemima, and the beautiful Truly Scrumptious. 

Music & Lyrics and West Yorkshire Playhouse are delighted to announce Charlotte Wakefield in the role of Truly Scrumptious and Jos Vantyler in the role of the Childcatcher in the much-loved Sherman Brothers musical CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, when the production arrives in Edinburgh this October. The tour continues until 4 February 2017.

TICKETS are still available for the much-loved musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, which flies into Canterbury this summer. The show, at The Marlowe Theatre from Wednesday 24 August, stars Lee Mead (Casualty, Legally Blonde, Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat) as Caractacus Potts; Claire Sweeney (Brookside, Strictly Come Dancing, Loose Women, Chicago, Guys And Dolls, Educating Rita, and Hairspray) as Baroness Bomburst; Phill Jupitus (The Producers, Hairspray) as Lord Scrumptious/Baron Bomburst; Carrie Hope Fletcher (Les Miserables, War Of The Worlds) as TrulyScrumptious; Matt Gillett (Jersey Boys, Top Hat) as the Childcatcher; and Andy Hockley (The Phantom Of The Opera) as Grandpa Potts.

Michelle Collins, who currently plays Baroness Bomburst, leaves the production on 30 July 2016.

From August 3, Claire Sweeney will play the role of Baroness Bomburst in Music & Lyrics and West Yorkshire Playhouse's production of the much-loved Sherman Brothers musical CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG. The production is touring across the UK and Ireland until February 2017. Michelle Collins, who currently plays Baroness Bomburst, leaves the production on July 30.
