The Laurie Beechman Theatre is excited to announce THE BEECHMAN FOLLIES, a thrilling one night only concert featuring some of the outstanding talents who have graced the stage of our midtown venue over the past three years. Among the cast are some of Broadway's brightest lights, as well as cabaret's most dynamic performers. The concert will benefit The Beechman's acclaimed Voices from the Great White Way series, which features one night only concerts from some of our favorite Broadway vocalists.

Following the great success of her spring engagement, dynamic singer Cindy Marchionda returns by very popular demand to The Laurie Beechman Theater for a four month series of Saturdays beginning August 15 and running also on September 5th, October 17th and November 21st with her sensational show, _'live at the beechman!'_ All shows are at 8:00. The Laurie Beechman Theater is located inside The West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd Street (between 9th & 10th Avenues). A convenient parking lot is located on the block. There will be a $20 music charge and a $15 Food/Drink minimum. MAC members pay a $15 music charge. Reservations: (212) 695 6909.

Casting has been announced for a 'first look' at select scenes and songs from the new musical adaptation of Katherine Anne Porter's classic novel, Ship of Fools, which will be presented May 12th to industry at a private residence in Manhattan. Pam Tate pens the book and score, and Tate and Erv Raible share duty on the lyrics. Hubert 'Tex' Arnold is the musical director and arranger. David Glenn Armstrong will direct the presentation.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre, located within The West Bank Caf? (407 West 42nd St.), is pleased to present Jeff Award winner Cindy Marchionda in Cindy Marchionda: Live at the Beechman. Cindy?s musical director, RAY FELLMAN, will be at the piano and ANDY GALE will direct. The show explores the last two years of Cindy?s life, going from the very funny experience of entering another career to expense some very high dental bills to a very sobering reality when her father is diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Expect an eclectic musical menu that includes songs by Jamie Cullum , Leiber and Stoller, Jackson Brown, The Indigo Girls, Johnny Mercer, Randy Newman and The Beatles. Performances will occur on Saturday, March 21st, Monday, March 23rd and Saturday, March 28th. All shows are at 7pm. There is a $15 cover charge and a $15 food and drink minimum for this event.
