The Pantages Theater went to the dogs on Friday, as the canine stars of LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL walked the red carpet on opening night at Los Angeles' Pantages Theater.

David Mirvish is thrilled to announce the Canadian Premiere of the Broadway hit LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL as the final show of the 2009-10 Mirvish Theatre Subscription Season. The show plays through August 8, 2010 at the Canon Theatre.

Laura Bell Bundy is currently starring in the Nashville stop of the LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL, as the tour Elle Woods (Becky Gulsvig) takes her vacation. On the opening night Tues, June 23rd, in Nashville, Mrs. Betty Witherspoon, mother of actress Reese Witherspoon who created the role in the film version of LEGALLY BLONDE, came to the show and presented Laura with flowers during the curtain call.

LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL was named the winner of three 2009 Touring Broadway Awards in New York City on May 4. The show won awards for Best New Musical, Best Production Design and Best Choreography of a Touring Production. The Awards, presented by The Broadway League, honor excellence in Touring Broadway.
