LIVE AT BARNES & NOBLE, has announced a series of special performing arts programming to showcase writers, composers, Broadway casts, recording artists, etc. on the occasion of book publications or CD/DVD street dates. These events will launch artist memoirs & bios, original cast recordings, companion books or special compendiums, solo albums and other related merchandise that is available for sale at Barnes & Noble. This is both a re-launch and expansion of the hugely successful series formerly know as 'Live at Lincoln' that will now span various Manhattan locations.

Manhattan Theatre Club will present its annual Winter Benefit, an evening of cocktails and dinner followed by a special one-night-only cabaret-style show featuring some of the biggest stars of musical theatre on Monday, January 24, 2011 at The Plaza (58th Street & Fifth Avenue).

Cheyenne Jackson, star of NBC's '30 Rock' and Fox's GLEE makes his Miami debut to welcome 2011 on December 31 and January 1 at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. Jackson will debut his new one-man show, All I Know. His act will be followed by concerts performed by Karen Olivo on January 14 and January 15, Gavin Creel on January 21 and January 22, and Bryan Batt on February 4 and 5.

Stepping up to a new arena of entertainment which now counts three successful restaurants, The Villa By Barton G (former Versace Mansion) and a corporate events division that services national and international clients, New Year's Eve will mark the entry of restaurateur/hotelier Barton G. Weiss' newest venture, PRELUDE BY BARTON G PRESENTS nabbing major star power in Chayenne Jackson as his inaugural attraction. Jackson performs Friday, December 31, and Saturday, January 1, at Prelude By Barton G presented by Barton G. Weiss and The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County.

Today we are taking a look and a listen to the winter finale of Fox's hit musical comedy series GLEE and its accompanying soundtrack, GLEE: THE CHRISTMAS ALBUM, both of which premiered this week. On Monday, November 8th, the VH1 Save The Music Foundation honored Julie Andrews along with Grammy® Award Winners John Legend, John Mayer and The ASCAP Foundation. Paul Williams, legendary songwriter and President of The ASCAP Foundation, accepted on behalf of The Foundation. Additionally, Natasha Bedingfield, a member of the VH1 Save The Music Alumni Ambassador Group, performed and the program for the evening, presented by LG Mobile Phones celebrated music as a universal language that shapes our life stories with a special tribute to the 45th Anniversary of Rodgers & Hammerstein's The Sound of Music by Kristin Chenoweth. The festivities were hosted by Broadway veteran and 30 Rock star Cheyenne Jackson. In the video below, Andrews answers some questions about her legendary appearance in The Sound of Music.

Glee has released some sneak peaks of the songs from the new episode 'The Substitute.' The Substitute is the twenty-ninth episode of Glee, and seventh episode in the second season. It will be aired on November 16th, 2010.
