The American premiere of Constellations, the acclaimed new play by Nick Payne, directed by Michael Longhurst, starring Oscar nominee Jake Gyllenhaal (Golden Globe nominee for Nightcrawler; Brokeback Mountain) and two-time Olivier Award winner Ruth Wilson (Golden Globe winner for Showtime's 'The Affair;' BBC's and PBS' Emmy nominated 'Luther'), opened on Broadway last night, January 13 at MTC's Samuel J. The 13th Street Rep's 'George M. Cohan Song-and-Dance Award'-honoring a triple-threat singer/dancer/actor--has this year been presented to two people: Rayna Hirt and Michael Czyz. Cohan himself-the quintessential song-and-dance man-may have long since gone to his reward. But his great-granddaughter, singer/actress Jennifer Cohan Ross, was on hand to present the awards. The 13th Street Rep's 97-year-old founder/artistic director, Edith O'Hara-a longtime believer in the importance of encouraging fresh talent--was there, too, to congratulate the winners. Playwright Chip Deffaa, whose work has often been presented by the theater, emceed the event.

Actor/director/filmmaker Sam Donnenberg has been presented with the 13th Street Repertory Company's "Giuseppe Bausilio Award." The award--named in honor of the young actor who starred on Broadway in "Billy Elliot" and co-starred at the Rep in "Irving Berlin's America" while simultaneously appearing on Broadway in "Newsies" and continuing his career as a world-class ballet dancer-is intended to honor a rising young multi-talented artist, who is simultaneously making his mark in more than one field.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ariana Grande, Matthew Morrison, Nicholas Hoult and Katie Holmes are the latest stars to sign on for The Weinstein Co's English-language version of UNDERDOGS, directed by Juan Jose Campanella from a screenplay he wrote with Gaston Gorali and Eduardo Sacheri.

BPO Nation proudly welcomes Academy Award Nominee Chazz Palminteri, as he brings his one-man show 'A Bronx Tale' for one night only to Kleinhans Music Hall at 8 p.m. tonight, Oct/ 4. Written and adapted by Chazz from the screenplay of the same name, 'A Bronx Tale' relives his coming of age in the midst of the workingman and gangsters in the Italian-American neighborhood where he grew up.

Chazz Palminteri stars in 'A Bronx Tale,' his acclaimed one-man show that launched him to fame, at the Mayo Performing Arts Center, Friday, October 17 at 8 pm. Tickets are $49-69.

Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College continues its 60th Anniversary Season with Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri, who brings his acclaimed one-man play, A Bronx Tale, to Brooklyn on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 3pm. Eight-Time Academy Award-Winner Slumdog Millionaire will be featured in the July Reel 13 Lineup

According to an Equity casting notice, a musical version of Chazz Palminteri's A BRONX TALE is set to get a developmental lab August 4-27. The musical features a book and lyrics by Palminteri and music by Alan Menken. Sergio Trujillo is set to choreograph the project.
