Charisma Carpenter is joining the cast of ABC Family's original hit series THE LYING GAME. Carpenter's character, Rebecca Sewell, was introduced last season in a recurring role that was revealed in the season one finale to be the birth mother of identical twins Emma Becker and Sutton Mercer.

ABC Family has given the production greenlight to four more pilots and ordered additional episodes of its new hit comedy series, 'Melissa & Joey,' it was announced today by Michael Riley, president, ABC Family. The pilots are 'Untitled Brenda Hampton Project,' 'What Would Jane Do,' 'The Lying Game' and 'The Great State of Georgia.'

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the nominees for the 37th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards. Many of the major categories were announced this morning on 'CBS News' 'The Early Show,' by Bree Williamson (Jessica Brennan on 'One Life to Live,' ABC) and Travis Stork ('The Doctors,' Syndicated) including the naming of the Lifetime Achievement honoree, Agnes Nixon, the grand dame of Daytime serial drama.

A 10-week season opens at the New End Theatre, Hampstead, on Wednesday 28 January and will run to Sunday April 5.
