Sheffield Theatres presents a Christmas production of The Wizard of Oz, starring Catrin Aaron (Miss Gulch / Wicked Witch), Jonathan Broadbent (Zeke/Lion), Gabrielle Brooks (Dorothy), Ryan Ellsworth (Professor Marvel / The Wizard Of Oz), Andrew Langtree (Hunk / Scarecrow), Michael Matus (Uncle Henry / Oz Doorkeeper), Sophia Nomvete (Aunt Em / Glinda) and Max Parker (Hickory / Tin Man). Artistic Director of Theatr Clwyd, Tamara Harvey, today announces the full cast for a major revival of Jim Cartwright's The Rise and Fall of Little Voice. Opening in the Anthony Hopkins Theatre on Tuesday 10 October, with previews from Thursday 5 October, the company will be led by Theatr Clwyd Associate, Catrin Aaron, in the lead role of Little Voice. She will be joined by Victoria John (Sadie), Christian Patterson (Mr Boo/Phone Man), Nicola Reynolds (Mari Hoff), Simon Holland Roberts (Ray Say) and Joseph Tweedale (Billy). The production sees Co-Artistic Director of Out Of Joint Theatre, Kate Wasserberg, return to Theatr Clwyd to direct.

Tamara Harvey begins her tenure as artistic director of Theatr Clwyd with Robert Hastie's delightful and thought-provoking production of Tennessee Williams's Southern plantation melodrama, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

Following the successful adaptations of Moliere's French farces, this Christmas the Playhouse presents another fresh adaptation of a classic French comedy. Liverpool-born writer Stephen Sharkey has created the hilarious and absurd Sex and the Three Day Week from Georges Feydeau's L'Hotel du Libre Echange. The cast includes Edward Harrison, Natalie Casey, Javier Marzan and Eileen O'Brien and runs from Friday 5 December 2014 to Saturday 10 January 2015.
