BURN THE FLOOR, the electrifying Latin and Ballroom dance spectacular, begins performances tomorrow night Saturday July 25 at 8 PM at Broadway's Longacre Theatre (220 W. 48 Street). BURN THE FLOOR has thrilled audiences in over 30 countries, and will be the first show of the new Broadway season, playing a limited 12-week engagement. Opening night is Sunday August 2, running through October 18.

Katie Holmes gave a big and bright performance on the 100th episode of FOX TV's 'So You Think You Can Dance tonight', her tribute to Judy Garland found her dancing to 'Get Happy' and was a pure delight to behold. The producers of BURN THE FLOOR announced today that CARRIE ANN INABA, the feisty but always fair American judge of 'Dancing with the Stars' has joined on as a producer.

Variety is reporting that Katie Holmes has teamed up with Hairspray director Adam Shankman, reality TV mastermind Nigel Lythgoe and Dancing with the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba to set up the Dizzy Feet Foundation. 'Dizzy Feet' is a dance scholarship fund that will give underprivileged youngsters the opportunity to take part in dance programs and win grants to enroll in accredited dance studios.

East West Players (EWP), the nation's premier Asian American theatre, increases their star-studded evening with appearances from some of Asian America's top media personalities. Leading the evening's festivities as Master and Mistress of Ceremonies will be actor Francois Chau and actress Tamlyn Tomita. There will also be appearance by Carrie Ann Inaba, State Controller John Chiang, Amy Hill, HGTV's Jonathan Fong and performances by TAIKOPROJECT and vocalist Ethan Le Phong. The award winning event will take place at the Hilton Universal City on Monday, April 27, 2009. Proceeds from the event will benefit East West Players' educational and artistic programs. Previously announced performers are Lea Salonga, The Three Filipino Tenors and Quest Crew.

Husband and wife, Ty Murray and Jewel, compete for bragging rights while newly engaged professional dancers, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff, go head-to-head. To top it off, country crooner, Chuck Wicks teams with girlfriend and two-time Dancing with the Stars champ, Julianne Hough.

According to the official website for the ABC show, 'Dancing with the Stars,' over fourteen members from the cast of the film adaptation of Dreamgirls will be performing on tonight's result show at 9pm.
