BWW Review: Book It! THE BOOK OF MORMON Soars - by Guest Critic Anne Shoemaker
by Daniel Collins - Nov 10, 2015

The Book of Mormon comes back to Baltimore by popular demand, and its not hard to understand why. The brainchild of South Park's Trey Parker and Matt Stone and Avenue Q's Robert Lopez is the hottest ticket on Broadway. While definitely not for the easily offended, this show is uproariously funny and fun, surprisingly touching and poignant, and the touring company gracing the Hippodrome Theatre does not dissapoint. In truth, I haven't enjoyed myself so much at a musical in a very, very long time.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW? BOOK OF MORMON's Candace Quarrels
by Jeffrey Ellis - Nov 1, 2015

Candace Quarrels' story is one of those hard-to-believe show business tales that is likely to resonate with so many people, for so long, that it might become legendary in time. In fact, it may be the modern day equivalent to the age-old tale of a young, sweater-clad Lana Turner being discovered at a lunch counter in Schwab's drugstore in L.A. It's an old-fashioned musical comedy - but not.

BWW Reviews: Ma Ha Nei Bu Eebowai for THE BOOK OF MORMON
by Amanda Finn - May 22, 2015

It's quickly becoming a household name. Although it's nothing like some of the shows considered 'classic Broadway', it has erupted into an existence far from anything of its kind on stage. Book of Mormon could be considered a somewhat mythical creature in the realm of theatre. The ultimate amalgamation of all things Broadway and South Park - this show is a masterpiece.

BWW Reviews: BOOK OF MORMON Shares Irreverent Fun
by Marietta Lunceford - Feb 23, 2015

BOOK OF MORMON is as off color and irreverent as you might have heard, but it has substance and meaning as well. The music is great and the talent top notch. Old fuddy-duddys should stay home, but for everyone else, you will be hard pressed to find a funnier, more entertaining show.
