Dallas Theater Center's hit production of the holiday classic A Christmas Carol returns to the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre.

PARTY PEOPLE, the new show by UNIVERSES, is developed and directed by Liesl Tommy, with music by UNIVERSES and Broken Chord, and choreography by Millicent Johnnie. The show begins previews tonight, November 1, at The Public Theater and has been extended through Sunday, December 11, with an official press opening on Tuesday, November 15. The Public Theater announced today that two popular fall shows have extended due to strong demand, with a new block of tickets going on sale Thursday, October 13.

Trinity Repertory Company continues season 53, Ghosts of the Past, Dreams of the Future with Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' gripping play,  Appropriate, directed by Brian Mertes. Dallas Theater Center announced today complete details for the world-premiere of DEFERRED ACTION. A co-production with Cara Mia Theatre Co. and directed by Cara Mia's Artistic Director David Lozano, DEFERRED ACTION features company members from both DTC and Cara Mia. DEFERRED ACTION will begin previews with a Pay-What-You-Can performance on Wednesday, April 20 and will run through Saturday, May 14. Press Opening will be Today, April 29 at 8 p.m.

On Friday, April 15, 2016, the Broadway play ECLIPSED by Danai Gurira - a story about the navigation of five women through the vicious Liberian civil war - observed a moment of silence during the curtain call to honor of the hundreds of missing girls who, in 2014 were abducted by members of Boko Haram, a terrorist group, at the Chibok school in Northern Nigeria: #BringBackOurGirls.
