TOPHER GRACE and OLIVIA THIRLBY will co-star in Second Stage Theatre's production of Paul Weitz's world premiere comedy, LONELY, I'M NOT, directed by Trip Cullman. Preview performances are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, April 10 at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd street). The production will officially open on Monday, May 7. Counter Productions will present the area premiere of Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey's Next to Normal. Winner of 3 Tony Awards including Best Score and the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Ethan Paulini will direct with musical direction by Casey Sanderson.

NEXT TO NORMAL, written by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey, will play the Everett Theatre in Middleton, DE from March 9th-18th.

The Stages Repertory Theatre is proud to bring NEXT TO NORMAL and the Goodman household to Houston audiences this summer. The rock musical will play the theater's main stage from May 16 to June 24. According to The Journal Live, Sting's new stage musical, THE LAST SHIP, had a try-out run this past weekend at Newcastle's Live Theatre. The singer tells the Journal that the show may be on track to come to Broadway before making the transfer to the UK's West End.

Bick Goss and Frank Evans, Producing Artistic Directors of Musical Mondays Theater Lab, Inc. today announced their two show February Festival of New Musical Previews: BLING on Thursday, February 2 at 6:30PM and THE SUICIDE, A MUSICAL COMEDY on Thursday, February 9 at 5:30 PM. Both previews of the new musicals will be at the Jerry Orbach Theater in the Snapple Theater Center, 210 West 50th Street.

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) will conclude its 33rd season with the World Premiere of the new musical, DOGFIGHT, featuring music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, a book by Peter Duchan and directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello. Winner of the prestigious 2011 Richards Rodgers Award for Musical Theatre, DOGFIGHT will be performed at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd street) this summer. The last two shows of Artists Rep's 2011/12 season, Race by David Mamet and Next to Normal by Brian Yorkey, music by Tom Kitt, will switch start dates. This change will allow Associate Artistic Director Jon Kretzu to direct the Broadway-bound It Shoulda Been You by Brian Hargrove, music by Barbara Anselmi, at the Village Theatre near Seattle, where it has its final production before its Broadway premiere this Fall. The show was produced at the George Street Playhouse in New Jersey last Fall and was directed by David Hyde Pierce.

Actors' Playhouse announces the fifth production of the 2011 - 2012 Mainstage Season, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical Next to Normal, which will be presented at the Miracle Theatre January 18 - February 12, 2012.

Actors' Playhouse is the first regional theatre in South Florida to produce the show following its long Broadway run and National Tour. Due to popular demand, Florida Studio Theatre (FST) announces a one-week extension of the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Next to Normal, with music by Tom Kitt and book & lyrics by Brian Yorkey.

According to MTV News, Tony winners Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey are busy writng the score for the movie musical, 'Sweet Valley High.' Based on the book series of the same title, the movie will inlcude a screenplay by Diablo Cody.
