Ardea Arts announces BOUNCE The Basketball Opera, their latest project in development. Showcase performances will take place at Paerdegat Park in East Flatbush, Brooklyn Today-Monday June 25-27, 2016 at 6pm.

Make Music Day, the annual global celebration featuring more than 3,000free, outdoor music making events in the United States, returns tomorrow June 21.

Ardea Arts announces BOUNCE The Basketball Opera, their latest project in development. Showcase performances will take place at Paerdegat Park in East Flatbush, Brooklyn Saturday-Monday June 25-27, 2016 at 6pm. BOUNCE is a free, non-ticketed event, open to the public. McAninch Arts Center (MAC) at College of DuPage is pleased to announce its 2016-2017 Season Performance Series. Subscriptions are on sale now for an exciting selection of music, dance, theater, comedy and literature events showcasing a roster of world-class headliners. Single tickets go on sale at the Box Office Saturday, Aug. 6 at 11 a.m.

Billboard.com reports as Bruce Springsteen just wrapped his five-show swing through England and Ireland, he decided to release each one as a live album. One show a week will be available starting June 15, with each also receiving a broadcast on the Boss' SiriusXM E Street Radio channel.

The six-episode music series event will highlight a five-year period celebrating the biggest hits from that time, hosted by Arsenio Hall and Kelsea Ballerini.

Carl Verheyen, recognized as “One of the World's Top 10 Guitarists” by Guitar Magazine and “One of the Top 100 Guitarists of All Time” by Classic Rock magazine, as well as guitarist for music legends Supertramp, will bring his three-member Carl Verheyen Band on a June tour of North America

National Endowment for the Arts Chairman Jane Chu has approved more than $82 million to fund local arts projects and partnerships in the NEA's second major funding announcement for fiscal year 2016. Included in this announcement is an Art Works award of $14,000 to Ardea Arts for the creation ofBOUNCE The Basketball Opera. The Art Works category supports the creation of work and presentation of both new and existing work, lifelong learning in the arts, and public engagement with the arts through 13 arts disciplines or fields.

Multi-platinum recording artist Josh Groban will return to the road this summer for the next leg of his worldwide tour in support of his gold-certified album Stages - a collection of some of the greatest musical theater songs of all time.

Sophie Auster recently completed a sold-out run of West coast dates supporting Coeur de Pirate and she's currently working on her next album due out in early 2017. Additionally, Sophie has a part in the series Mozart in the Jungle with Gael Garcia Bernal, which premiered in January on Amazon Prime.
