Whatsonstage.com reported several West End extensions today, including the blockbuster musicals Wicked and Jersey Boys and plays The 39 Steps and Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap.

The Broadway production of JERSEY BOYS recently celebrated 1,500 performances at the August WilsonTheatre. After running over three years in New York, the show can now be seen in Chicago, Las Vegas, London, Toronto, in cities across the U.S. on a National Tour, and the recently open Melbourne, Australia production.

The Chicago Company of JERSEY BOYS will say 'Bye, Bye Baby' to the Windy City on January 10, 2010, after an incredible run of over two years at the Bank of America Theatre. JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, premiered in Chicago initially as a limited engagement on October 5, 2007. After opening to rave reviews, adding additional performance weeks and setting four new box office records, JERSEY BOYS became a resident production on February 27, 2008. The final performance on January 10, 2010, at 2 p.m. will be the Chicago Company's 951st. The final block of tickets for performances from November 24, 2009 - January 10, 2010 will go on sale on Friday, September 11 at 10 a.m.

Bob Gaudio, one of America's best songwriters and one of the men behind the 60s pop sensation the Four Seasons visited Toronto to celebrate the first anniversary of Jersey Boys in Canada.

Dates have been announced for the Boston engagement of JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, playing the Citi Performing Arts Center Shubert Theatre for six weeks only! The musical will make its Boston premiere on Thursday, July 23 and play through Sunday, August 30. Press night is scheduled for Wednesday, July 29 at 7 PM. Tickets go on sale in time for the holiday gift giving season on Sunday, December 7 at 10AM.

The Broadway production of JERSEY BOYS will perform an additional performance on Sunday, August 23 at 8pm to benefit The Actors Fund. All of the actors' salaries and all of ticket sales will be donated to The Actors Fund benefiting people in film, theater, television, music, opera, and dance.
