Playhouse on Park turns up the heat a notch on summer with CHICAGO.

The Music Man, by Meredith Willson, will close July 17, 2011 on the grounds of the beautiful Snug Harbor Cultural Center in Staten Island, just minutes from the Staten Island Ferry.

Stage Left Productions, the same company that brought The Who's Tommy to Hammonton, will perform the classic musical Cabaret at the Eagle Theatre, located at 208 Vine Street in Downtown Hammonton, at 8pm on August 12, 13, 19, 20, 25, 26, and 27, and 2pm on August 14 and 21.

The second of two musicals planned this summer at Playhouse on Park opens July 13th. Chicago the musical is based on the original play of the same name by Maurine Dallas Watkins. It is loosely based on the trials of two women accused of murder in the 1920s.

Roundabout Theatre Company will present a Roundabout Underground production of Suicide, Incorporated, a new play by Andrew Hinderaker and directed by Jonathan Berry. The classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical 'Oklahoma!' takes the stage at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center July 15-17 and 22-24.
