KRIS KRINGLE The Musical is a new Broadway-bound production being developed in Cleveland by New York's Angel Polar Bear LLC in association with Broadway's Creative Licensing Group, one of the producers of the Tony Award-nominated musical Little Women.
York Symphony Orchestra Sets 2015-16 Season

York Symphony Orchestra announces their 2015-2016 Season, In Nature's Realm, a series of ten performances, which will include: a classical series, inspired by nature's beauty and power; two Pops performances, featuring music audiences will know and love; two family-focused presentations; and the first fully-staged opera in the history of York. Music Director and Conductor Lawrence Golan returns on the heels of a noteworthy inaugural season to lead the Orchestra in presenting a symphonic force of nature. Season subscriptions are on sale beginning Monday, May 11 at 10:00 a.m., and single tickets will be available beginning Saturday, August 1 at 10:00 a.m.

Centenary Stage Company's Young Performers work tirelessly to perfect their dance moves, learn all of their lines, and get their vocal harmonies just right for the culmination of their training session and this spring is no exception! These talented young thespians between the ages of 8 and 18 will fill the Little Theater with a variety of shows and musicals to entertain audiences of all ages May 29th - June 7th with their annual Spring Festival of Shows. The Young Performers Workshop (YPW) has been hailed as a 'state treasure' by Peter Filichia of the Star Ledger and brings in youth from Morris, Warren, Hunterdon and Sussex counties. This spring, the festival will feature How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying, Gypsy, and American Sampler: 100 Years of Broadway Dance. Performances will be held on select dates in the Little Theatre on the campus of Centenary College at 400 Jefferson Street in Hackettstown.

Tony Award nominee Jarrod Spector will bring his acclaimed show, A Little Help from My Friends, to Feinstein's at the Nikko for two performances - Thursday, June 25 (8 p.m.) and Friday, June 26 (8 p.m.). Featuring a full band and back-up singers, Jarrod takes the audience on a joyous ride of great songs everyone knows and tells a vivid story about his time as the iconic Frankie Valli in the hit Broadway musical, Jersey Boys.

While the frat boys parked their boozy asses in the bar car (aka the couch) for the long road to the NCAA's Final Four over the past few weeks, NYC's village cabaret club The Duplex offered an alternative "March Madness": Cabaret shows about being crazy. As a devotee of time on a different sort of couch, I was drawn in to three separate performances--from Michael Shea, Stacie Koby, and Amber Petty--seeking some music therapy to get me through the tail end of a long winter.
