Producer John Breglio and the Apollo Theater Foundation, Inc. announced today that New York audiences will get an additional week to see the premiere engagement of Dreamgirls at the Apollo Theater.

Art D'Lugoff, former owner of the legendary Village Gate (now Le Poisson Rouge) and off-Broadway producer died at the Allen Hospital of New York-Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan, where he had been taken on Wednesday due to shortness of breath. He was 85. The cause of death has not been determined.

Broadway star and former Friends' Mr. Geller has reportedly signed on to guest star in a one-off stint on NBC's Law & Order. In the episode, set to air on Friday, November 20 at 8pm, Gould will portray an angry Harlem-based business owner who goes rogue after a crime spree occurs in his New York City neighborhood.
