Wells Fargo Center Announces 2014-2015 Season Featuring Music, Dance, Comedy & More

Wells Fargo Center for the Arts announced 24 new shows for 2014-2015 featuring world-class performances in music, dance, comedy, speakers and family entertainment. For 33 years, Wells Fargo Center for the Arts has presented a popular and diverse range of outstanding performances for fans of all ages and diverse interests. Tickets will be available to members of Wells Fargo Center for the Arts on Tuesday, May 20 and on sale to the general public on Friday, June 13 at noon. Tickets and memberships may be purchased online at wellsfargocenterarts.org, by phone at 707.546.3600 and in person at the box office at 50 Mark West Springs Road in Santa Rosa.
New Victory to Kick Off VICTORY DANCE Initiative, 7/16

The New Victory Theater, New York's premier performing arts venue for kids and families, announces Victory Dance, a pilot initiative to provide FREE dance performances to New York City kids this summer. A three-week series serving New York City day camps and school programs from July 16 to August 1, 2014, Victory Dance will feature a cross-section of New York choreographers and companies in more than a dozen pieces specifically curated for young audiences.

The Celebrity Series of Boston announced its 2014-2015 season today, marking 76 years of bringing the world's greatest performing artists to Boston. The season opens on Sunday, October 5, 2014 with Italian pianist Maurizio Pollini in recital. In total, the 2014-2015 season will include 46 music, dance and entertainment engagements. The 2014-15 season is sponsored by Amy and Joshua Boger.

Chaired by Michael Stipe and Justin Vivian Bond, PS122's Spring 2014 Gala will celebrate freedom of expression by honoring actor and performance artist John Fleck, performance artist and writer Holly Hughes, and performance artist Tim Miller-three of the four solo performers known collectively as the NEA 4. In addition, Clara Miller will receive the Shining Star Award, an award traditionally given to a non-artist who has greatly impacted the arts community of NYC. Miller founded the Nonprofit Finance Fund in 1980, which radically changed how non-profits think about their financial strategies.
