ATLANTA - (April 23, 2015) - ArtsBridge Foundation, the producer of the 2015 Georgia High School Musical Theater Awards - Shuler Hensley Awards, tonight announced the winners of the 2015 awards during a ceremony at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. Award highlights include:  Overall Production - West Forsyth High School for Nice Work If You Can Get It; Direction - Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School's William Patti for Godspell; Leading Actor - West Forsyth High School's Nick Eibler for his role as Jimmy Winter in Nice Work If You Can Get It; and Leading Actress - Milton High School's McKenzie Kurtz for her role as Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins. Additionally, three scholarships and one grant were awarded.

VERY VERY is a sexy electric reinvention of a classic comedy of rebellion, love, freedom, and redemption that turns Shakespeare's AS YOU LIKE IT into a full-out rock concert. MCC THEATER has announced that the New York premiere of Jennifer Haley's The Nether directed by Anne Kaufman will receive the distinct honor of being filmed for the Theatre on Film and Tape Archive for the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. The filming will take place during the Friday, March 20th performance. The Nether recently extended performances through Sunday, March 29, 2015. MCC THEATER has announced that the New York premiere of Jennifer Haley's The Nether directed by Anne Kaufman has now extended for a final time through Sunday, March 29, 2015.

On Sunday, March 15 2015, to celebrate Broadway Sings for Pride's (www.BroadwaySingsforPride.com) upcoming 5th Anniversary Gay Pride charity concert in June, they will be amping up the star power and going into the recording studio. The selection of songs will be favorites from their previous shows and cast members who support Broadway Sings for Pride including a special arrangement of Seasons of Love featuring RENT Alumni.

MCC THEATER has announced the final production of its four-show 2015-16 Main Stage Season, which runs August 2015 through June 2016. Playwright Halley Feiffer (I'm Gonna Pray For You So Hard) will make her MCC Theater debut with her play A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Gynecologic Oncology Unit at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center of New York City. Trip Cullman returns to direct after helming this season's critically acclaimed hit Punk Rock. Full details below. Anna Ty Bergman, Dani Marcus, Blake Pfeil, and Roger Weisman lend their talents on backup.

The production opened on Tuesday, February 24th and was previously scheduled through March 15, 2015 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street). A production of The Nether also just opened to great critical acclaim in London's West End at the famed Royal Court Theatre.
