Spots Still Left For Winter Vacation Camp At Crystal Theater

A few spots are still open for next week's Winter Vacation Camp. Read below for details! Winter Vacation Camp Class will perform 'Cinderella' Are you looking for a fun and enriching activity for your children during the February school vacation week? Crystal Theatre is offering a one-week camp from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM beginning Monday, February 16, with a show on Friday, February 20 (snow date Feb. 21) at the new Ben Franklin Theater. Children in grades 1 -5 are invited to act, sing, and have fun during the dreary winter vacation. Cost will be $295 per child.

Peter Nero and the Philly Pops? steps into the magical life of one of the world's greatest entertainers, Frank Sinatra, with its sensational series Celebration of Ol' Blue Eyes. With his unmatched vocal stylings, Sinatra and his legendary friends embodied the very essence of hip. Vocalist Steve Lippia, who is known for his interpretations of the Sinatra songbook, joins Peter and the POPS as it pays homage to this late, great icon. Performances of Celebration of Ol' Blue Eyes take place February 15 at 3:00 p.m., February 18 at 8:00 p.m., February 20 at 8:00 p.m., February 21 at 3:00 p.m., and February 22 at 3:00 p.m.

Today Tony Taccone, artistic director of Berkeley Repertory Theatre, announced additional dates for two solo shows that he staged in Berkeley before launching them on tours across the continent. Danny Hoch's Taking Over had its world premiere at Berkeley Rep in January and hit it big in Montreal this July; next week it starts an All City Tour featuring free performances in Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx in addition to previously announced dates in Manhattan and Los Angeles. Moreover, after a record-breaking run in Berkeley last winter, Carrie Fisher's Wishful Drinking careened through Hartford, San Jose, Santa Fe, and Washington, DC this summer; now it adds Seattle to a list of upcoming destinations that also includes Boston.
