Get ready to dance to the hits like you've never danced before when Flashdance the Musical comes to the Belgrade Theatre this September. Back on UK stages for the first time since 2011, this brand new touring production marks the 10th anniversary of the show's world premiere in 2008, with Strictly Come Dancing winner Joanne Clifton and A1 singer Ben Adams leading an outstanding cast.

After a week of sell-out shows at the Daegu Opera House, 4 - 7 July, Selladoor Worldwide and the cast and creatives of Flashdance the Musical scooped the 3 biggest awards at the Daegu International Musical Festival Awards. Joanne Clifton Strictly Come Dancing Champion playing leading lady Alex Owens won Best Actress; last year Selladoor's production of Spamalot also won Best Actress, Sarah Harlington as Lady of the Lake. Playing opposite Joanne in the role of Nick Hurley, Ben Adams of a1 won Best Actor and Selladoor Worldwide proudly took home the award for Best Musical.

Flashdance: The Musical stars former Strictly Come Dancing pro Joanne Clifton and A1 heart-throb Ben Adams. It tells the inspiring and unforgettable story of Clifton's character, a welder by day and 'flashdancer' by night, who dreams of going to the prestigious Shipley Dance Academy and becoming a professional dancer. When a romance (with Ben Adams' Nick) complicates her ambitions, she harnesses it to drive her dream.

Following the exciting news of being named Radio Disney's 'NBT' (Next Big Thing), JAGMAC is releasing “Right Back (With You),” their new single about relationships and how, despite their ups and downs, true love always finds a way to balance itself out in the end. The song is a fun, high energy pop track with an explosive hook that will keep listeners dancing and singing. “'Right Back (With You)' is the perfect track to introduce fans to our new JAGMAC sound,” says Alyssa, the lead female vocalist in the six sibling group. Flashdance - The Musical made a welcome return in 2017 for an extensive UK tour. Starring Strictly favourite Joanne Clifton and singer-songwriter Ben Adams, Flashdance arrives at The Bristol Hippodrome on Monday 25th June.

A special event called the Patchwork Play Project will be held at the Omaha Community Playhouse as part of the Alternative Programming series Monday, April 23, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. in OCP's Hawks Mainstage Theatre. The event is free and open to the public with the opportunity for donation. No tickets or reservations are necessary.

Continuing with our 25th year celebration, SNAP! Producitons' has brought back one of its most wildly acclaimed shows. First presented in 2000, SNAP! Productions will proudly restage Bill Russell and Janet Hood's song cycle ELEGIES for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens.

Eugenius is funny, bursting with great songs and great performances and, if a little overly familiar in terms of plot and characters, forgivably so.
